I’ve been reading Game of Thrones and wanted to take a break to read something really cheesy and smutty for Christmas. I haven’t read a Christmas romance before, so when I got the email for this free ebook, I figured fuck it. But no. no no no no. Trigger warning (loss) and spoilers ahead….
I didn’t read past the first (I think?) chapter because…. the main character is recently divorced and still grieving a stillborn, which is what caused the divorce apparently. NO, THANKS. Somehow smutty hot rugged dude doesn’t seem like the right fix for this book. I wanted something light-hearted to read, dammit. Thumbs down.
