Ok, so it’s about a dude who’s “life is turned upside down” and then he’s caring for his young daughter all by himself. I figured this might be safe from pregnancy/baby stuff. But you know, I was wrong.
The very beginning of the book starts with a flash back to a positive pregnancy test 3 weeks after she went off the pill. I rolled my eyes and kept reading. There was talk about trying for a second baby but it was just briefly glossed over. There is a lesbian couple in the book considering trying for a baby and mentions of IVF. Oh, and there are lots of those hallmark moments of a happy dad/daughter scene and reminiscing about when she was an infant/toddler/whatever.
Anyway, the book kind of sucked and I don’t recommend it regardless of how you feel about pregnancy in the plot line.
